This year I decided to organise a dinner party for my amazing friends. We all got to wear our favourite festive jumpers, drink gallons of wine and tuck in to a good old fashioned roast dinner.
I really enjoyed setting out the dining room table, I brought a personalised table runner from Not on the high street, a Gold multitier candle holder from Habitat and instead of traditional candles, I invested in some remote control LED candles which have different mood settings and modes from Amazon. I got the fabulous holly themed wine glasses from TMAX and my giant Christmas hats chair coverings from Amazon. And the cute tartan crackers from Tesco.
To add more mood lighting to the table I brought some battery operated fairy lights and added them to glass bowls. I did have two little candle sticks but never lit these in the end.
I have 15 people coming to me for Christmas day, and challenging myself to do a different table dressing (Watch this space).
Photos don’t always go to plan (mind you the wine could have had something to do with it to!)
And the I Phone pictures weren’t any better…
I got the selection of fun props from Amazon and I am so glad that I did they were a great icebreaker and surprisingly really good quality .
And on that note…
Merry Christmas everyone, hope you all have a wonderful day with your families and friends!
Thank you for reading and sharing.
