Let’s face it when it comes to the art of seduction,
crusty chapped lips are not remotely sexy, and while there are a lot of products out there to help you achieve smooth kissable lips, it’s always handy to know how to make your own.
Emergency? Hot, Naked guy on your bed? Need a super quick fix? Just mix olive oil with sugar and rub over your lips, and then apply lip balm (DIY post coming soon) Boom …flaky free, kiss ready lips! – Only con is now you smell like olive oil
Now if you have time to prepare, you can increase your desirability by adding a range of different tastes and fragrances to the lip scrub to simulate the sense’s and leave your lips looking so kissable, they won’t be able to keep their own lips off you. (If they are the adventurous type maybe you could even help exfoliate each other’s lips 😉 )
You can use white or brown sugar (even a blend of both) as the base of your scrub. I used brown for mine. Naturally Balmy on Amazon sell loads of different flavoured oils that are safe to use (and also handy little pocket sized tins to store the scrub in). I used Rose flavour for mine. You can add essential oils to make the scrub smell divine and use different oil bases depending on your skins different needs.
I used organic Rosehip oil from trilogy in mine, this oil is amazing you can add it to Face, hand and body creams when your skin needs that extra boost (great for reducing scaring too!) Rosehip oil contains essential fatty acids (omega 3 and 6) which repair and hydrate the skin – Perfect for healing and plumping dry chapped lips. (You could also use, almond oil, jojoba oil and coconut oil)
I used rose essential oil, because I just love the smell, to me it oozes femininity and sex appeal.
To make the lip scrub, just combine 1tsp of sugar to 1tsp of oil (just increase the amount to make a bigger batch) add a couple drops of flavour oil and essential oil. Use 2 times a week.
And that’s really all there is to it!! So go on… Go snog until your lips fall off!!
Until next time, thank you for reading and sharing!
